Keisuke is Misuzu's father, who pushed his daughter onto his sister-in-law. Ten years later, he decided he wanted Misuzu back, and was horrified to discover her in a wheelchair, unable to walk. Haruko begged him to let her have three more days with Misuzu, and he granted this request. When he took Misuzu back, he dropped her into the water at the beach with her toy dinosaur and favourite juice. Misuzu ran from him into the arms of Haruko, and he agreed that it was better to let her stay.
